Children attending half-term art sessions at The Hub, Revidge Community Association's Centre on New Bank Road have been involved in a creative link with Keemo, a successful American online artist.
Working with Cath Ford from Action Factory Community Arts and inspired by looking at Keemo's artwork, the children created their own paintings which will be displayed on www.KeemoGallery.com and which will be viewed by visitors from all over the world.
The workshop was a great success and the children were creatively inspired by the link with a living artist and the opportunity to have their work displayed internationally.
One of the children at the workshops, Kiran said 'I painted this picture to express my feelings about the things that Keemo had made. He made extraordinary things and that's what makes art a good thing. I really enjoyed this challenge and I hope I can do it again.'
