East Lancashire derby hooligans


19 Burnley FC and Blackburn Rovers fans have been jailed for their part in violence which erupted following the clubs' Premier League clash in October 2009.

  • Burnley fan Andrew Porter, 44, of Parliament Street, Burnley. Jailed for five years with a 10-year football banning order.
  • Burnley fan Paul Hartley, 27, of Church Street, Burnley. Jailed for four years with a ten-year banning order.
  • Burnley fan Daniel Tempest, 27, of Mitton Grove, Burnley. Jailed for four years and two months and given a ten-year banning order.
  • Burnley fan Mark Hamer, 28, of Olivant Street, Burnley. Jailed for three years and eight months.
  • Burnley fan Joshua Slade, 18, of Kittiwake Road, Chorley. Sent to a young offenders' institute for 12 months and given a six-year football banning order.
  • Burnley fan Steven Ball, 18, of Crabtree Avenue, Burnley. Sent to a young offenders' institute for 14 months respectively and given a six-year football banning order.
  • Burnley fan Thomas McDonough, 23, of Valley Road, Barnoldswick. Jailed for 21 months with a seven-year football banning order.
  • Burnley fan Stuart Craig, 23, of Haverholt Close, Colne. Jailed for two years and given a seven-year football banning order.
  • Burnley fan Ian Grice, 37,  of Herbert Street, Padiham. Jailed for two years and given an eight-year football banning order.
  • Burnley fan Scott Page, 26, of Huntroyde Close, Burnley. Jailed for two years and given a seven-year football banning order.
  • Burnley fan Joshua Gornall, 22, of Northview, Eastburn, Yorkshire. Jailed for two years and three months and given an eight-year football banning order.
  • Burnley fan Sean Widdop, 24, of Hornbeam Way, Manchester. Jailed for three years and given an eight-year football banning order.
  • Blackburn Rovers fan Samuel Bowen, 26, of Melville Drive, Blackburn. Jailed for a year and given a seven-year football banning order.
  • Blackburn Rovers fan Paul Rushton, 46, of Boxwood Drive, Blackburn. Jailed for a year and given a seven-year football banning order.
  • Blackburn Rovers fan Joshua Riley, 21, Solway Avenue, Blackburn. Jailed for a year and given a seven-year football banning order.
  • Blackburn Rovers fan Christopher Sutton, 23, of Meadow Gardens, Rishton. Jailed for a year and given a seven-year football banning order.
  • Blackburn Rovers fan David Comberbach, 41, of Bank Hey View, Blackburn. Jailed for 10 months and given a seven-year banning order.
  • Blackburn Rovers fan Jordan Hoyle, 19 of Park Farm, Blackburn. Jailed for 16 months and given a seven-year banning order.
  • Blackburn Rovers fan Samuel Hindle, 18, of Shadsworth Road, Blackburn. Sentenced to six months in a young offenders' institute and given a six-year football banning order.
