Obese need some tough love

Yet another person has had to be taken by crane out of their house because they are too overweight (LT, July 13).

Who are feeding these people? They can't go shopping for themselves so the person doing it should start helping them by not buying all the junk they are consuming.

The teenager who got in to this position a short while ago was using her phone to order takeaways. She should have her phone taken from her.

The 'feeders' should be prosecuted for physical abuse as they are watching a situation unfold and apparently not helping.

I feel sure these poor souls would have loved someone stronger than themselves to help them get a grip of the situation.
