The Abu Qatada saga rolls on and on, a never-ending source of news for the media.
This country has been trying to get rid of this man for eleven years without success.
It is reckoned that he and his family have cost the British taxpayer over £500,000 in benefits, and the cost goes on.
He his now appealing again, not to me I may add, and not, I suspect, to any other decent minded member of the public.
If our politicians were less concerned with what foreigners thought of them and more concerned about what their own people thought of them, Abu Qatada would have gone long ago.
If the European Court of Human Rights are that concerned about him, then ship him to Brussels.
Let them look after him. They are very welcome to him.
Stan Melling, Lower Darwen.
