What good news (‘Gown from Titanic movie goes on display in Colne,’ LT, August 6).

But it would be even better if Kate Winslet herself came to Colne!

Why would Kate Winslet want to come to Colne? The gown was a costume provided by the film company, she wore it as part of the character she played.
