I am so glad that people all over the world, wishing to learn more about Danny Boyle, will go to Wikipedia, where they will discover that he comes from “Radcliffe, Lancashire.”
Luckily, he was born before the ‘county boundaries’ scandal of 1974, when the Conservatives attempted to create a county of “Greater Manchester,” which, thankfully, they had to abolish only 12
years later in 1986.
