It's a filthy habit not picking up after your dog.
We always pick up after our dog even on dirt tracks and farm tracks. People who do not pick up are giving all dog owners a bad name. They should be fined heavily if caught and be made to go on a poo patrol picking up dog waste left behind with people like themselves.
