Letter: Menu rethink is food for thought

IS this a classic case of too many cooks? Yet again there is to be another improvement plan for school meals.
This time it is going to be by fast-food entrepreneur Henry Dimbleby and his business partner John Vincent who are shortly to embark on a fact finding tour of the nations schools.
Jamie Oliver has indicated he too wants to remain involved. In response to Jamie’s involvement last time, the Labour government set up the School Meals Trust. At the last count, this quango was gobbling up £60million a year. If recent history is anything to go by, I shudder to think what this latest review is going to cost us taxpayers.
