Letter: Retired police for NHS patrol
2:53pm Saturday 23rd June 2012 in Opinion
I think police should be permanently based in hospitals 24/7. How do the council tax payers who basically fund the police pay for this?
Well, how about utilising the police who retired at 48 on obscene pensions, funded by the council tax payers? It would give them something to do, instead of pottering around their gardens.
