PRIOR to Blue Peter’s visit this Saturday, one of the football pitches at Towneley, between the hall’s car park and pavilion, has become waterlogged.
The pitches at Towneley have always been waterlogged whenever I played on them – even in August. Pitches 11, 12 and 13 aka ‘The triangle’ are terrible.
