Letter: Let's hope they target the yobs

SO there’s a new crackdown on dog mess and fly-tipping in Burnley (LT, June 19).

Good luck with trying to target the yobs who throw lager cans all around, or their pitbull-type dogs fouling in the middle of public footpaths.

On second thoughts, they will probably ignore them and just stick to pensioners and their pets – after all, it’s much easier to hit soft targets and not the real problems.
