Letter: This was most disrespectful

Regarding Margo’s point (LT, June 12) about no flags or bunting at the Town hall.

I was the person who pointed it out just after we all had sung our hearts out.

This all should have been sorted before.

As Blackburn born and a Lancashire lass of 78 years old, this was most disrespectful.

My father came home from the war with a steel plate in his head And I lost an uncle at sea.

We. the older people of Blackburn, know what respect is all about.
