Stop the killing of birds for fun

THE bird shooting season is now under way, when beautiful birds are blasted out of the sky by people in the name of sport (or should I say fun).

Any so-called sport which involves animals and birds being hunted and killed for sport, is disgusting and abhorrent and needs stopping right now.

The people who carry out these acts should hang their heads in shame, there is nothing sporting about their activities.

How would they like to be hunted by the animals?
