MAY I, through the pages of your paper, appeal to those who are holidaying in Spain this year not to go to the bullfight.
It is a cruel form of "traditional entertainment." It ought to be illegal.
Of the Spanish population, 72 per cent (Mori Poll) have no interest in bullfighting and it is only the tourist industry which keeps it alive.
Many tourists leave when they see what the bulls have to endure.
