I, with many readers of the LT, will be pleased at the exposure of animal cruelty featured by you on June 11.

There is no justification for training pit bulls for fighting. It's no wonder, the treatment given to them, that they were aggressive and dangerous.

On page seven readers would be horrified by sick yobs impaling a vulnerable pet kitten on a three foot long metal fence post and I hope those responsible are named.

As for the fun race on page 13, and it's obvious pigs would not race without enticing them at the start with food. It is unnatural behaviour.
