Google can you please update your maps and include our new road
The new link road may be open but doesn’t exist on Google Maps as yet.
The road linking the Wainwright Bridge, Bolton Road and Preston Old Road through Freckleton Street to Montague Street was finally opened to vehicles a full decade after it was started in 2006.
Google Maps though still shows the old roads in the town and there is no sign of the new highway which was one of the most ambitious projects in the town.
Alan Shearer Way which also opened in recent months is on the map.
