I’VE done jobs from coalman to meat lifter, from chef to Smithfield Market porter so I am working class (retired) and proud. Things I will be remembering come the General Election are: The economy – the one contrast between Labour and Tory is the former ruins our country faster than the other.
Immigration – while migrants clamour to reach England – I don’t blame them – both Labour and Tory parties have presided over the building on English farmland to accommodate more and more people.
Food security – forget it! With the large rise in our population the UK’s self-sufficiency for food is in a downward spiral.
Europe – Tony Blair says we should stay in. No Mr Blair, let’s get out.
What we need is certainty. What we are getting is the opposite. I’m going to vote for change and vote for Ukip. I am not a member, I’m a realist.
