RE, ‘Blackburn open for business’ despite three prominent units lying empty The council should look into ways to expand small businesses.
Rates in the mall are ridiculous and only small businesses who have more money than sense can afford to trade in there!
They will pay out thousands for big companies like Primark, H&M, New Look etc to come to Blackburn but the small businesses are shunned to the outskirts of town!
Bring the town centre rent prices down and every unit will be full within six months HexyBird (via web)
