With World Spay Day today ((((February 24))))), Dogs Trust, the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, would like to highlight why we believe it is nicer to neuter your dog.
Neutering can reduce health risks to your pet such as womb infections and mammary cancers; can encourage calmer behaviour in your dog, and may even help reduce aggression.
Neutering your dog can prevent unwanted litters that are often abandoned, leaving rescue charities like Dogs Trust to pick up the pieces.
Dogs Trust is pleased to offer low cost neutering to anyone on a means-tested benefit in many areas across the UK.
