RE, Thousands of households contacted by Electricity North West in the middle of the night I received a recorded call to my landline at 1.35 this morning regarding the weather. I was not a happy bunny.

I contacted Electricity North West today to complain and they advised me that I was on the ‘vulnerable register’ and they could not take my number off, only my electricity provider could do so.

I then rang Eon, who had no idea what I was talking about and that I was on no such register. I have no idea who to contact now to prevent any further phone calls.
