On a journey into Blackburn from Brownhill I had to travel through the Bastwell area of town.
At the Bastwell traffic lights I noticed a banner put up over an Asian shop on the left hand side of the road that was proclaiming to the public who passed by that we should not offer support to the Jewish people of Israel, or to any of the businesses who buy goods from Israel.
Why have Blackburn with Darwen Council or Lancashire Constabulary not gone into action to remove this sign and to prosecute the perpetrators of this surely racially-motivated act of law breaking?
Does Jack Straw agree with this sort of action?
