What is point of this scheme?
RE, FURTHER DELAYS: Motorists driven to despair at traffic lights They’ve failed in creating a solution to a problem that didn’t exist in the first place.
Even a monkey could realise how much of a mess they’ve made. Coming off the M65 towards the Mitre, two lanes go into three on the roundabout, with no sign of which lane leads into which (only a matter of time before there is a bump there), and the bus lane leading up to the roundabout has its own priority traffic light, but then leads onto the traffic lights at the roundabout anyway. What is the point?
In fact, what is the point of this whole scheme?
