Veil is not practical

I wear Hijab.. That allows full face recognition and doesn’t impair my driving etc. I have tried the Niqab - ridiculous if you are a fully functioning 21st century woman. You can’t hear, see,drive, or interact properly. If you are a housewife you rarely leave the house and if then ..only for a pint of milk. Fine but for real life. Impossible. And the Quran doesn’t state this is essential..It simply states - modesty!
