Yet only the other day, Cllr Maureen Bateson was wondering what the Council could do to make the Borough a nicer place to live in. I wonder if she is taking note of what people are saying here, as a guide as to what to focus on in the future. Some how, I seriously doubt it though...
It would be a good idea to go around some of these blighted areas and ask if everyone has the correct bin, as often times, tenants will remove themselves and take the bin with them, leaving the new tenant facing the cost of a new one.
I echo the comments of those whom state that, charging for the removal of bulky household waste, was always going to create problems and should never have been adopted in the first place.
