It’s funny how the parents have to save every penny to afford a holiday during the school breaks, but when they want to take them away during term time, they are threatened with fines. They say this is for the child’s education.
Yet teachers go on strike. Where is the child’s education in all this? I understand the attendance policy is set by the government, but why didn’t the schools speak out when it was put in place?
