Letter: Safety comes first for taxis
RE ‘East Lancs taxi drivers face ‘scrap car’ threat’ – anything that makes taxis safer gets my vote.
The state of some that one sees is quite alarming.
Couple that with how many taxis throughout East Lancs fail the test when checked makes it even more important that complaints by the taxi owners are ignored and councils continue to make the vehicles, cleaner and safer.
