Leaders at Pleckgate High School are reportedly taking ‘urgent and decisive’ action.
I’m very glad to read that the school has got itself back on track, due in large measure, I am sure, to the endeavours of the staff who work there.
It’s ironic, though, to read that Blackburn with Darwen Council are praised by Ofsted. It’s a bit like praising someone for rescuing you from a river when he or she is the one who pushed you in in the first place!
And there’s still no further statement about Ms Ridgway from the borough council.
Don’t let this LEA ‘smokescreen’ you, great Blackburn public! Keep up the pressure to learn the whole truth of this sordid business.
