Letter: No strategy for growing rail demand
SO, a new train has been confirmed for the faster service between East Lancs and Manchester (LT, April 4).
But there’s still no long-term strategy for building enough new trains to meet the rising demand for rail travel across the country and especially up here in the North where all we get is cast-offs from other areas.
