Following the dedicated collaboration of staff and children of Tunstall Nursery, a new photo illustrated book was launched last week.
Helping Young Children Learn Through Activities in the Early Years, which was written by staff at the Tunstall Road nursery in Croydon, features children, parents and carers learning together.
The nurserys headteacher, Jane Cole, said staff had some help with the writing from Croydon College and Croydon Pre School Learning Alliance.
She said: The power of early learning is difficult to convey in words alone but the visual images powerfully illustrate the importance and effectiveness of the foundation phase of education.
