Beavers check out regalia

BEAVERS from Gravesend enjoyed looking around the Mayors parlour.
The mayor, Councillor Peggy Mersh, invited the Riverview Beavers to look at all her regalia and she told them about the history of the mayors parlour.
Maureen Stoneham, the mayors secretary, said: The 20 boys who came had a ball. They really loved looking at all the regalia in the parlour.
She added: We often get groups looking around the parlour, people just have to phone and organise a visit.
