A STUDENT is hoping to explore an area’s bus travel habits with a wide-ranging survey.
UCLan third year Alex Spencer, 20, is to examine the bus use of people in Blackburn and surrounding areas.
His dissertation project towards his geography studies is geared towards understanding people’s travelling habits and attitudes towards bus and car use.
The former Clitheroe Royal Grammar School pupil said: “I am working with local bus company Transdev Lancashire United, so the survey will mainly cover Blackburn, but responses could reach as far out as Manchester and Preston because of the bus routes there.”
