Heavy rain causes travel chaos in Todmorden

A CLOUDBURST led to one of the main roads out of Todmorden being closed to traffic today.
Heavy rain closed Burnley Road between Todmorden and Mytholmroyd and police were advising motorists to avoid the area from late morning.
Buses to Burnley from Halifax via Todmorden were severely affected, as were the Todmorden to Rochdale services.
