FORMER Todmorden GP Harold Shipman features in a new art exhibition by ex-Stone Roses guitarist John Squire.

Shipman is represented in Squire’s latest collection, focusing on the cult of celebrity, which also includes Lindsey Lohan, David Beckham, and Josef Fritzl.

Squire, who also fronted The Seahorses, has used traditional eight-pointed Islamic stars to depict his subjects.

Shipman, who hung himself in Wakefield Prison after being convicted of 15 patient murders, is portayed in white stars against a brown background.

The exhibiton is at the Idea Generation gallery in London.
