TEENAGERS in Todmorden have been helping to ‘paint the town green’ as part of a new civic pride drive.
Part of the National Citizen Service, 16 and 17-year-olds from across Calderdale have been finishing off murals around the former health centre site off Bramsche Square.
Working with local artist Taz Braischer and the Incredible Edible group, they are spending four Saturdays on the project.
Coun Barry Collins, who chairs the town’s development board, said: “We know that Bramsche Square in Todmorden has needed cheering up for some time, and the young people’s brilliant work will give the area the vibrancy it deserves.”
