‘Paranoid’ dad in attack

A "PARANOID" father of two attacked his then ex-partner after smashing his way into her home through a window at night, a court was told.
James Andrew Thomas, 29, accused terrified Toni Muircroft of sleeping with somebody else, searched every room in the house, then punched the victim, Burnley magistrates heard.
Thomas, of Westgate, Whitworth, who had had his case adjourned for psychiatric reports, had earlier admitted assault by beating and damage.
He was given a 12 month community order with supervision and must pay £250 compensation and £25 costs.
