THE next phase of the £1.5 million transformation of Waterfoot Health Centre, Cowpe Road, should be complete by autumn.
Co-op pharmacy and one of the centre's four GPs has already set up in the newly-modernised area.
The huge revamp will bring improved facilities to 9,000 patients in the centre of Rossendale.
When the next stage is complete, the temporarily-displaced teams of community health professionals from East Lancashire PCT will be able to return to the centre and work alongside the GPs and pharmacy staff.
