TODMORDEN Town Council's amenities committee has accepted an offer from Mid-Pennine Arts to send a company called Dhamak, specialising in South Asian music, to work in each school in the borough for half a day.
At each of the sessions, a whole school assembly will be introduced to "dhol" drums.
This will be followed by a workshop, leading to a class composition.
Councillors were told the programme would cost a total of £1,550.
