DETECTIVES investigating the murder of murdered teenager Alex Holdroyd in Todmorden have traced a woman they wanted to speak to as part of the investigation.
CCTV image of the woman was released on Thursday in a bid to trace her and she has now contacted officers as a result of those appeals.
Mr Holdroyd, 19, died in hospital after being stabbed in an incident in Todmorden town centre on January 9.
Officers are still keen to speak to the occupants of a silver Mini that was seen outside the One Stop Shop, in Bridge Street, at about 7.20pm that night.
The vehicle is a new-shape Mini with a black roof.
Three men, two aged 43 and 34 from Bradford and another aged 24 from Todmorden, were charged with murder on January 18 and are currently remanded in custody.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact detectives via the helpdesk on 01422 337059 or Crimestoppers, anonymously and in confidence, on 0800 555 111.
