A MAN who attacked his partner in front of a two-year-old child is awaiting sentence.
Burnley magistrates heard how David Mark Lockley, 24, who had a caution for common assault, left the victim injured.
The defendant, care of Acre Mill Road, Stacksteads, admitted common assault on February 18.
He was bailed until March 26, for a pre-sentence report and the bench said they were thinking of a high level community penalty.
Lockley was ordered not to communicate with Nicola McGuire and he must not go within 100 metres of her home in Newline, Bacup.
