A FAMILY barbecue and Craig Cronshaw memorial football tournament will be held at Stacksteads Countryside Park today.
The 18-year-old from the village died in 2008 when his Citroen Saxo crashed into a wall.
The event, running from noon to 3.30pm, will feature a treasure hunt, along with the five-a-side match for more than 40 young people aged 13-19.
Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult. Booking is not required.
Football teams can enter by collecting a form from Stacksteads Post Office.
The Mayor of Rossendale, Coun Amanda Robertson will be presenting the Craig Cronshaw football trophy, donated by Craig's parents in memory of their son.
