WOULD-be gravy wrestlers are being called on to apply to tak part in this year’s championships.
The popular event at The Rose ‘n’ Bowl in Stacksteads will allow participants to raise money for their own chosen charity or for the East Lancashire Hospice.
Entry for the fancy dress event on Bank Holiday Monday, August 26, which this year has an ‘entertainment’ theme, is on a strictly first come first served basis. The organisers are also calling for sponsorships from companies and individuals, with all proceeds going to the hospice.
