JURORS broke down as they heard a harrowing 999 call begging for help for Sophie Lancaster and Robert Maltby.
A 15-year-old girl made the desperate call from her mobile telephone.
Crying hysterically she told the operator: "We need an ambulance.
"This mosher has just been banged because he's a mosher.
"We need an ambulance at Bacup park. Quick. On the skate park.
"Poor guy. I don't know him and I'm crying my eyes out. I think he's dead."

The operator asked the young girl to calm down and asked where she was.
The teenager told the operator that Robert Maltby was lying on the floor and not breathing.
A male in the background can be heard shouting, "Get the **** off him now please".
The girl goes on to say "everyone is still on him but don't tell I'm on the phone to you, right."
A male can then be heard shouting: "He's on the floor, man. He's practically ******* dead, kicking his head in."
The girl told the operator: "His bird's on the floor as well.
"They're still breathing but they're full of blood," before pleading with the operator to send an ambulance.
She says: "I can't touch him, he's full of blood. The blood is pouring out of their heads."
She tells the operator that Sophie is choking.
The girl says: "We've just walked down and there were a load of people but they all ran off in a gang and then we've just found them with blood all over their faces in Bacup park."
She goes onto say they were making "stupid noises, like they can't breathe".
The operator asks if either of them are awake, but the girl says they've both got their eyes closed.
The operator asks the girl to get a cloth or a towel to try to stop the bleeding.
She says: "I've got a T-shirt on, and I can't take it off because they're all going to see my bra. Just one minute I'll take it off, I'll put my jacket back on."
She instructs one of her friends to push down on the wound but tells the operator: "It's all over their hands.
"All coming out of their eyes. All out their nose and everything. Please just help us quick."
She then tells the operator that Robert is choking on his own blood, and she is instructed to turn him onto his side to prevent him choking.
The operator tells the girl she needs to know the position of them.
She says: "They're horrible. They can't hear. They're just laid there with blood all over their faces.
"They can't even move they just look like dummies."
She later tells the operator that Robert tried to sit up, and she told him that the ambulance was on its way.
She tells the operator she can see Sophie's belly moving, but that is the only thing that she can see because there is so much blood.
The ambulance arrived shortly after.
