McDonald's pervert 'no longer works' for fast food chain

A CONVICTED child porn pervert has left his job at fast food giants McDonald's.
Lee Robert-Shaw, of Tewkesbury Close, Baxenden, admitted child porn charges after more than 110 indecent photographs and videos were found on his computer.
Now his former bosses at McDonald's in Rising Bridge, have confirmed that the 23-year-old was subjected to internal disciplinary action following his charge.
And a spokesman said that the firm has now parted company with him, although they would not confirm if hehad been sacked or resigned.
Robert-Shaw pleaded guilty to 28 charges of making an indecent image of a child when he appeared at Burnley Crown Court.
Police said a proportion of the images and videos were of the most serious "level five" category.
A spokesman for McDonald's said that as soon as Robert-Shaw was arrested in July 2006 disciplinary procedures were started.
She said: "There is not a great deal we can say because of data protection regulations.
"When we found out he had been arrested we took the relevant disciplinary action.
"He no longer works for the company."
When arrested 104 indecent images of children were found on his computer along with seven video clips, the court was told.
Robert-Shaw has been placed on the sex offenders register while he awaits sentence in June.

The police cannot offer a deal of no jail time.. only the courts can do this. so to say the Police offered him a bribe is rubbish.. for all you defenders of this sicko, where any of you with the perv when this offer was made to him.. Why on earth people on here just love to attack people who are found guilty of their crimes? They are so sick minded psychos! Cant you let the Courts decide on the most suitable punishment rather than taking the law into you own hands. To me those who threaten to use violence to those guilty are just as bad/evil! Can we add here that Lee Robert-Shaw did not just plead guilty to having over 110 pornographic images of children on this system but also of MAKING AN INDECENT IMAGE OF A CHILD, the CPS must have some pretty strong evidence to support this claim, after hearing what Know the facts and Here Here Here have to say I wouldn't be surprised if those images where of his own brother or another innocent family/friend member. He isn't just a dirty perv who likes to look at disgusting picture of children, he is the sick b*****d who abuses children to make these sick images and videos, the whole thing turns my stomach and I pray that really bad things happen to this pervert and all his perverted friends.

I came across the Telegraph Headlines yesterday, and I would have to say how upset and disappointed I was in your poor standard of English Writing. You have taken I two year story, irrelevant whether he is guilty or not and effectively taken this story out of its original context. You have taken the key grabbing theories and presumptions and have branded these as facts. How can you publicly say for certain you know these to be true when you seem not the evidence at hand? For instance, you have stated that Mr Lee Robertshaw ( Please see correct spelling of Robertshaw, unlike yours); that he was working at McDonalds during the time of his arrest, the Police and McDonalds UK Ltd have informed me this is not true.

I must inform you Mr Watkinson that you can breach this, and as far as I have been informed by McDonalds UK Ltd, you and you employers will face legal action by incorrectly using Slander and Bias publications against the company in the name of creating a Profit for Glory headline.
I personally thing you out of propositioned Head Line to Article is extremely weak and clearly unprofessional as this is relying solely to grabs head without depth and or little content. I you wish to progress in you career, I advised that this is not the way to express your self.

I dont want to comment on the case that is in progress.I would however comment on the one thing that everyone is forgetting and that is the inocent children in these pictures.who will give them justice mentaly.i can answer for them no one.Who will wipe these memories from their heads as they grow older and realise the extent of what has happend to them.no one.every day children and adults are abused.by people who feed on power and control.You will never stop abuse it happens all over the globe.my heart goes out to these children and i can only pray that life will be kinder to them and their pain heal and their memories of abuse be easier to live with.what is the answer for abusers there isnt one.All we can do is to pick the pieces up and try and put back together another inocent live lost. If i was an innocent person accused of such heanus crimes i can assure you i waouldn't stop fighting to prove my innocence and clear my name.
Even if it meant spending the rest of my life in prison order to do so.
I find it extremely hard to believe this suposedly "innocent" man only admitted his guilt inorder to bipass a custodial sentance.
Lets take a look at the facts shall we? images of an inapropriate nature (sick, disgusting images) were found on HIS computer he ADMITTED POSSESION "he got found not guilty of distribution" meaning he did not distribute the images, meaning he downloaded them but he did not pass them on to others!
He is absolutely guilty of this terrible crime, even he says he is!

As has been stated before, apparently police offered him a plead bargain, please Guilty and no Jail Time. 2 years is allot of time for this to be hanging over anyone's head. I can see why he took the offer if it was there.

I don't know about anybody else but if I was innocent of a crime I was being accused of I would stand by my guns no matter what, if it mean going to prison whilst protesting my innocent then I would go, NOTHING would convince me to plead guilty to something I haven't do. The facts remain, he had the images on his computer, he has pleaded guilty, he IS guilty and our children need to be protected against this perverted individual and all his little paedophile ring who are on here contesting his innocents... watch your backs parents, it seems there is a lot more involved in this case than just this one person, and of course the rest of the ring will carry on the work he has started. Someone needs to sort these perverts out before the hart other innocent children.

2. McDonalds quite reasonably trying to bury bad publicity. I dont know why they bother because most decent folk dont go/or like me allow their kids to go to McDonalds. The food is s***e, unhealthy, poor value and the clientele usually wearing trackies, abit rough and from the nearest council estate. The last time i went was to the Rising Bridge one about 5 years while driving through. The breakfast was disgusting and i dont know what they put in that scrambled egg.
