WITNESSES have been asked to come forward following a crash last month.
The Lancashire Telegraph reported a 31-year-old man and a seven-year-old boy were taken to hospital after a Vauxhall Astra van and a Vauxhall Insignia crashed in Schofield Road in Rawtenstall on Tuesday March 27.
The Astra driver, a man in his 30s, suffered serious injuries and the child passenger received minor injuries.
The driver of the Astra remains in hospital in a serious stable condition and the driver of the Insignia was uninjured.
The police have asked anyone with information to come forward to help with its investigations.
