Bury Road, Rawtenstall
AN oven fire at a home near a main road was dealt with by fire crews.
Firefighters were called to reports of a fire and smoke in a home on Bury Road, Rawtenstall, today just after 11am.
The fire was located in the cellar of the property and involved food in an oven, officers who attended the blaze said.
There was some light smoke damage to the basement and ground floor of the property, a fire spokesman added.
There were no casualties reported.
