TEAM GB relay star and Olympic bronze medallist, Kelly Massey will officially cut the ribbon at the grand opening of a new Aldi store.
After nine months of the town’s newest shopping destination Aldi’s Rawtenstall store at New Hall Hey will be unveiled tomorrow.
Store Manager Callum Boyle and the Crawshawbooth Primary School choir will be on hand to assist Kelly with the opening day celebrations and welcome customers into their brand new store.
Kelly said: “As an athlete, I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to get the right amount of fresh fruit and veg into your diet.
“For me, there’s no better place to start than with Aldi’s British-grown fresh produce.”
The store will be open from 8am to 10pm on Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
So far Aldi has hired 25 members of staff and is still recruiting for more.
Information on all roles at Aldi can be found via www.aldirecruitment.co.uk/stores.
