The Rossendale Together Barnfield Partnership have visited the Spinning Point refurbishment.
Kevin Ruth, Chair of the Partnership said: "I am delighted to see how the work is progressing and I am looking forward to seeing it completed."
Spinning Point is the multi-million pound redevelopment of Rawtenstall town centre.
Demolition work has already begun and construction of the new buildings will start next May.
Councillor Andy MacNae, Portfolio Holder for Regeneration, Leisure and Tourism said: "Once finished, the development will be great news for Rawtenstall and also the borough.
