THE funeral has been arranged for a soldier who died in a road collision.
Michael Joseph Goggins, 22, suffered severe head injuries when he crashed a red Land Rover Freelander into the central reservation of the Haslingden bypass.
His parents, Dave and Joan, of Britannia Avenue, Bacup, have arranged a service to be held at 11am on Friday at St Mary's Church, Bankside Lane in Bacup.
Speaking about his son Nr Goggins said: "I will miss his infectious smile and sense of humour.
"He brightened up the lives of everyone who knew him and I am so proud to call him my son."
