A FIVE-YEAR-OLD child and an adult were administered to hospital after a two vehicle car crash near a children's nursery school.
Emergency services were called to the incident which took place outside Puddleducks Nurseries at the junction of Helmshore and Jubilee Road in Haslingden at 10.50am on Tuesday.
First aid was administered to three casualties, including a five year old child and adult, by firefighters prior to the arrival of paramedics.
The five-year-old child, adult and another child were taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital.
A one-year-old baby was also involved in the crash but was not taken to hospital.
A fire spokesman said: "They removed the vehicles from the road, ensuring there were no remaining hazards from fire, fuel or debris."
