A MAN has appeared before magistrates after going on a stealing spree around supermarkets.
Blackburn Magistrates Court heard Lewis Levi D’Arbo, 30, of Piccadilly Road, Burnley, stole a basket full of shopping from the Co-op store in Whitworth on May 20.
The court heard that nine days later he stole a TV valued at £180 from Tesco in Haslingden.
D’Arbo also failed to surrender to custody at Burnley Magistrates Court on August 1.
D’Arbo pleaded guilty to two counts of heft and one of failing to surrender to custody.
The case was adjourned for the preparation of a pre-sentence report. D’Arbo was given conditional bail to live and sleep at his home address. He will be sentenced at the magistrates court on September 1.
